According to Antoine Semenyo, a winger for Manchester City, the Black Stars will showcase the stunning Ghanaian culture in the United States, Canada, and Mexico during the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

Semenyo claims that after missing out on the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Morocco, the Black Stars are travelling to the World Cup to promote Ghanaian culture to the rest of the world.
In an interview with CBS Sports, the forward for Manchester City stated, “We want to show our culture.”
The former winger for AFC Bournemouth also shared how he would celebrate a World Cup goal against the Three Lions of England.
“If I score for Ghana against England at the World Cup, I will probably dance with the whole team.” – Antoine Semenyo said.
The Black Stars, who will be competing in their fifth World Cup, have been placed in Group L with Croatia, England, and Panama.
Ghana’s World Cup campaign will begin on June 17 in Toronto against Panama, followed by a match against England in Boston. On June 27 in Philadelphia, a match versus Croatia will wrap up the group stage.
