Owusu-Bempah's predictions for 2026: Bloody NPP Primaries, Deaths, and More
Rev. Isaac Owusu-Bempah, the founder and leader of Glorious Word Power Ministries International, has made a number of predictions regarding what would happen in 2026, claiming to have seen them through spiritual insights.
He defended his ministry before making the prophecies, claiming that God foretells future events so that people might pray against them if they are negative.
The controversial man of God foretold about a number of things, such as the deaths of children, the spread of a disease worse than the coronavirus, the passing of a great spiritual leader in Ghana, the deaths of prominent Ghanaians, and plane crashes.
1. The NPP primaries were bloody
According to Owusu-Bempah, if caution is not exercised, the opposition New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) impending presidential primaries could turn violent.
As a result, he asked the public and party members to pray against it.
“Listen to this, NPP. Don’t hate what I’m saying to you. I saw an image that resembled a human being and had human traits. And this personality was present among the candidates running for flagbearership.
“I asked God, what is the significance of this? I noticed that the personality, the picture standing in the middle of the candidates, was bleeding. And God told me that if they don’t exercise enough caution, the party’s election will turn chaotic, there will be carnage, some people will die in the process, and it will cause division inside the party,” he claimed.
“Don’t hate what I’m saying,” he continued. I’m not engaging in politics here; this is not politics. This is about people’s lives.
2. An attempt to overthrow President Mahama
Additionally, he stated that some foreign groups will attempt a coup against President John Dramani Mahama, but it will fail.
He asked people to pray against a foreign coup attempt, which he claimed would undermine the good deeds of the present president, John Dramani Mahama.
Some individuals have made plans, and some of these individuals are international visitors to Ghana. What I’m saying is based on what I witnessed: they came to this country when we didn’t recognise ourselves as a nation. We suddenly learnt that there had been a coup d’état,” he remarked.
“Those who are planning that evil and want to stage a coup in this country, this is a warning to you because you will not succeed,” he continued. We will therefore pray about it, but our country’s security services need to be on guard.
He warned the alleged coup plotters that they would be caught if they carried out their plan.
3. The passing of Ghana’s past presidents
Additionally, he foretold that several past Ghanaian leaders would pass away in 2026 and warned that the predictions would come to fruition if the former leaders disregarded the warnings.
In order to avert disasters, he consequently urged prayers for former Ghanaian leaders, highlighting the significance of group prayer and intercession for the country’s leaders.
4. The passing of a well-known former boxer from Ghana
He added that a former Ghanaian boxer is expected to pass away in the nation, but that this is not God’s plan and may be prevented via prayer.
Here are some further prophecies made by Owusu-Bempah, which he asked the country to pray against if they were terrible or to protect if they were good:
The passing of a world-renowned fighter who left a lasting legacy
The passing of a devout leader and a magnificent man of God
A brawl on the Ghanaian Parliament floor that will be handled by the police or army
The passing of a 2028 presidential candidate
Ghana is experiencing unparalleled prosperity and increased employment prospects.
The passing of well-known chiefs and a renowned journalist
