Ernest Abebe Tabi is a soldier, minister, and songwriter. "Thank You Lord" is a song of gratitude.
Ernest Abebe Tabi, a distinguished soldier, ordained Reverend Minister, and prolific singer-songwriter, has released his latest single,
“Thank You Lord,” which is a potent combination of his spiritual calling, military experience, and musical talent. Born out of a life-altering near-death experience, this poignant song is more than just a song.

In keeping with the timeless message of Psalms 107:1 NIV, “Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good; His love endures forever,” Tabi’s ministry is based on expressing gratitude for God’s protection and providence. His most recent release has a strong resonance with this theme.
The song “Thank You Lord” was inspired by Ernest Abebe Tabi, who was on board an RAF Voyager plane that crashed over the Black Sea on February 9, 2014. Instead of fear,
Tabi’s first reaction in that horrifying moment of abrupt descent was an automatic surrender and mutterings of “Jesus” and “Thank You Lord.” “I was not thanking God for what was happening — I was thanking Him because,” he remembers.
As stated in 1 Thessalonians 5:18 HCSB, “Give thanks in everything, for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus,” I knew He was still in charge. The pilot miraculously recovered control, preventing catastrophe—a terrifying ordeal that served as the impetus for Tabi’s profound appreciation.
With the release of “Thank You Lord,” Tabi turns a deeply vulnerable moment into a worship song. He refers to the song as his testimony, a continual reminder of God’s unwavering mercy and the deep appreciation it demands.

The goal of Tabi’s single, “soldier’s salute to a faithful God,” is to encourage listeners to consider their own instances of divine intervention and to express gratitude for life, purpose, and grace—particularly during internal and external times of battle.
Abebe Ernest For the past 18 months, Tabi has been actively releasing “God-given music,” and “Thank You Lord” is the most recent addition to his discography, which already includes six singles.

In addition to his musical pursuits, he organises the yearly “Love2Worship” event, which uses music and camaraderie to encourage love and obedience to God.

In her ongoing defence of a life lived in love and submission to God, Tabi exhorts everyone to pursue knowledge of the Almighty in order to live a fulfilled life.
