Editorial Policy
This editorial policy explains how MyGHPages approaches reporting, updates, corrections, sources and sponsored material.
Accuracy and verification
We seek to publish accurate information and to identify the source of significant claims. For public-interest stories, we prefer primary documents, official statements and direct statements from relevant organisations or individuals when available. A claim that has not been independently confirmed should not be presented as an established fact.
Breaking news
Early reports can change as more information becomes available. When a story is developing, MyGHPages may update the article with new confirmed information. Readers should check the publication and update times on fast-moving stories.
Original reporting and context
Our goal is to provide useful context rather than simply repeat a headline. Articles may explain background, relevant dates, key terms, public records, practical implications and what readers should watch next.
Images and media
We aim to use original, licensed or otherwise appropriately permitted visual material. Captions and alternative text should describe the image accurately. We do not intentionally present unrelated images as evidence of an event.
Corrections
When a factual error is identified, we review the available evidence and correct the article when appropriate. Readers can report possible errors through our Contact Us page.
Advertising and editorial independence
Advertising and commercial relationships should not determine the factual content of independent editorial reporting. Sponsored or promotional material should be distinguishable from ordinary editorial coverage.
Reader privacy
Our handling of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.
