Prophet Adom Kyei Duah, the founder of Believers Worship Centre, has generated internet debate after making a statement to his audience during the just-finished crossover church service.

The well-known pastor was heard telling his churchgoers to sell all of their properties and follow him in a video posted on Instagram on January 1, 2026, which has drawn a lot of criticism.
He clarified that those who dare to sell their properties would be blessed.
“Listen to me; I’m offering you Adom Nyame tonight, so sell all your properties and come acquire him. People in your immediate vicinity will see what the Lord accomplishes through you once you purchase Adom Nyame. You’ll thrive too,” he declared.
Prophet Adom Kyei also stressed that he doesn’t make up stories or demand money from his followers.
If I were to accept your tithes and offerings in light of all the testimony being given in this place, it would suggest that the God I worship is incapable of providing. So, acquire Adom Nyame and sell your homes.
“I will never beg to eat, and I have no intention of extorting money from you. I won’t incite panic or terror in order to steal your money.” I have this Adom Nyame,” he continued.
